Dr. Shimizu earned her doctor of dental surgery from San Martin de Porres University in Lima, Peru in 2000. She continued her studies and training at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she received her master’s degree and completed her prosthodontics residency. She also served as Chief Resident at Indiana University—Purdue University Indianapolis School of Dentistry from 2009-2010.
