Dr. Crume earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC in 1984. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville, KY in 1988. After four years in private general practice with his father in Florence, KY, he returned to the University of Louisville and received a degree in Prosthodontics in 1994.
