Dr. Aristotelis Marinis is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He received his DDS degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and his DMD degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Dr. Marinis completed a three-year dental specialty program in Prosthodontics and graduated with a Master of Science Degree from the University of Iowa. He also received surgical implant training in the Implant Periodontal Prosthetics Fellowship at the University of Maryland. Dr. Marinis is currently pursuing an MBA degree at the UIC Liautaud Graduate School of Business.
Before joining the ClearChoice Implant center in Quincy, Dr.Marinis was a core faculty in the Prosthodontic Specialty Program at UIC, where he received multiple teaching awards. He has been practicing as a specialist in prosthodontics both in Faculty Practice at UIC and in private practice in Chicago, IL. Dr. Marinis, during his teaching career, has mentored several prosthodontists that are currently practicing within the ClearChoice network.
Dr. Marinis is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. He has lectured in national meetings and his scientific articles have been published in peer-reviewed journals. His clinical expertise is focused in implant dentistry, esthetics, full mouth rehabilitation of patients with failing dentition, and implant reconstruction of edentulous patients. In his free time, Dr. Marinis enjoys biking, swimming, skiing, and traveling.
